I had to take a break from the mini's to get my TCopter flying! This thing is fast! This is one of my favorite larger line of sight multi rotors. The "T" shape helps maintain the orientation even when it is far away. I've had its predecessor, the mini Y tricopter, for a while so I thought I'd give this one a try.
It hard to pick a favorite between the two because they are so similar, but if I wanted "cool", I'd pick the Y copter. If I wanted easier LOS flying, I'd choose the T copter.
The Y is using 12 amp Magic ESCs with Simonk firmware
The T is using 12 amp Afro ESCs with BLHeli & OneShot enabled.
The Y is using a KK2.1.5 flight board.
The T is using a KK2 Mini.
Both are using SunnySky 2204 motors.
