In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew speaks with Josh Schiff at Hobbico about the new Helimax Form 500 utility drone. The Form 500 ready-to-fly package comes complete with a Tactic TTX810 radio transmitter and a lithium-polymer flight battery. It also includes a GoPro camera mount, although Schiff explains that the Form 500 has been designed as a general-purpose aircraft for hobbyists. It can be used for training, recreational flying, FPV and experimental payloads. It incorporates two aluminum mounting rails along the bottom of the fuselage, allowing it to be adapted for different missions.
