DroneKit SITL Bench Testing With Raspberry Pi, Pixhawk, and Tower
Previously I demonstrated how to setup Raspberry Pi () for communication with Pixhawk. In this video I cover how to install DroneKit on Raspberry Pi and DroneKit SITL on Mac to do bench testing. The takeoff and land DroneKit python script can be found here:
DroneKit Python makes it easy to programmatically control Pixhawk. Just keep in mind that DroneKit is still relatively new and there are still bugs. Always have your transmitter setup to toggle into a flight mode of your choice.
