Pixhawk Locks Up with Retracts - Always Use BEC to Power Servos
This is the Castle Creations BEC used in the video:
As with many lessons in this hobby I learned this one the hard way. You want to make sure and use a BEC to power your receiver, which will ultimately power your servos. I had my retracts setup to pull power from the receiver without a BEC and it consistently locked up my Pixhawk. Took me a while to figure this out and I wanted to share this with you to prevent you doing what I did: crashed in the field and another time in the garage.
