Thoughts on Drones and Open Source Software
As a follow up to my thoughts on GoPro Karma and DJI Mavic I wanted to share some thoughts on open source in the context of the drone space. I'm a big fan of ArduPilot, Pixhawk, Mission Planner, Tower, Open Drone Map and a lot of the other open source drone software out there. Developers work hard to bring us these tools and it's a great time to be flying a drone whether it be for hobby or commercial purposes
