Review: Sony 800TVL Effio-V FPV camera (part 2)
The Effio-V FPV camera certainly provides better quality video than the 600TVL unit but is it worth almost twice the price?
I could certainly fly with either of these cameras, both offering excellent light-handing capabilities however, the latency of the Effio-V was apparent when swapping straight from the 600TVL on exactly the same frame.
However, it only took a few flights before I could feel myself already adapting to that latency and I'm sure that for the "average" flier, it won't be a deal-breaker.
I will now spend some time tweaking the Effio-V settings to get the best possible results and post a Part 3 to this review.
