Let's pull the FPV monocle apart and see what's inside while we work out which way around the power should be connected. The unit looks reasonably well constructed and produces a reasonable picture -- at least indoors (the video does not do it justice). Perhaps the biggest disappointments are the color fringing produced by the plastic lens and the lack of a brightness/contrast control of any kind.
I will now use the system on a model and see how it performs outdoors. Watch for part 3 of the series early next week.
