Single shot Chase with 2 ImpulseRC Aliens. As most of you know while away in Dubai I never got to do any flying at all for just over 2 weeks. From the lead up until we got home. Essentially I was their in a support roll. We finally had an hour to kill and just the two of us taking turns in flying. On the last pack Thomas suggested trying another attempt at a chase video.
Keep in mind I’m pretty rusty but even though we couldn’t maintain the sort of close chase that I would have like, boy was this so much fun to do. It was also the first time I fitted the ImpulseRC LEDs to my quad.
Its worth mentioning this is the Second’s Alien you see in this video. No GoPro on it as this is what I’ll be my dedicated racer. Because it’s so much lighter than Thomas’ 6” with GoPro, I had to be as smooth as possible for him.
As much as we have so much fun doing these, I must say seeing air to air footage of a quad flying is something pure magical. It’s almost like the quad has stopped and the scene is moving around it. The other bonus is Thomas didn't land on my quad like he normally does
Next few videos will be reviews and I’ll also attempt to get part 1 of the Dubai experience edited too.
