FT Explorer Crash
Crash of my FT Explorer. I was testing out the Naze32 flight controller using the latest Baseflight for fixed wings.
Everything appeared to be going OK. I had a good GPS satellite fix and all my indicators looked normal.
As soon as I flicked on RTH mode, the plane went into an immediate dive. I immediately went back to the previous mode (gyro only) and the plane pulled back hard to pull out of the dive and the wings folded from the excessive G-forces.
Perhaps this plane design is not best suited for long range FPV?
