The 1000mm DLG RC plane flies okay - except that the warped wing does create quite a violent left turn/roll out of the launch. Still air times are no better (perhaps worse) than the 950mm built-up DLG and, although I'm still refining my launch technique for this model, I don't seem able to get as much altitude from the launch, which is surprising.
Unfortunately, by the time I filmed this video, all the lift was gone and in fact there was a lot of sink about -- hence the unimpressive flight-times.
All in all, the ARF version of this model is probably a reasonable buy but I think I'd still save myself $70 and buy the 950mm one instead.
