Here's a look at the new Team Orion VST2 Pro motor. This brushless, sensored, 540 sized motor is fully modified and available in many turn options. I chose the 7.5t version for my track. Here's where I got it and some info directly from Team Orion:
With the Vortex VST2 Pro sensor brushless motors for 1/10 scale cars Team Orion introduces a completely new motor design using the experience from the World Championship winning Vortex brushless motors. The VST2 Pro features a convenient dual sensor port system which allows the motor to be installed in your car in the best possible way. The empty port can be used to easily program your ESC through the motor. A protection cap for the second port is included.
Furthermore the VST2 Pro features a new sensor design for outstanding performance and optimized efficiency. The case is a robust CAD design made out of high-grade aluminum machined at an extremely high level of accuracy and quality. Perfectly balanced rotors are used together with high quality stator materials. R&D manager Oscar Jansen also included a new rotor installation tool which makes it easy to rebuild your motors - and a sensor cable holder which at the same time protects the solder tabs !
