Described as “Uber for Drones,” skilled pilots can opt-in to take support calls any time which is convenient for them, and the 500below system will match them up with clients who require technical support. Both support providers and seekers submit information about their aircraft configuration, so that appropriate connections are made, and providers earn money by taking calls. After a call ends, the pilot seeking support is given the opportunity to rate their provider, in order to ensure quality service.
