Earlier this year, Treviso-native and Berlin-based Chevel unveiled his third LP, Blurse, via German imprint Stroboscopic Artefacts. Now drops an EP of its various reworkings, of which an advanced class of music heads are culpable: Paula Temple, Lee Gamble, Perc and Minor Science, whose take on "Loop #42" is our pick of the lot. The British producer also based in Berlin, Minor Science joins this 'meeting of the minds' with Chevel, adding a rippling and glittering to #42's textures, all atop a curious pulsation in the bass line. A perfect contrast to what precedes it in this impressive remix collection.
