Snatching a very brief window in the awful weather, I tilted the motors to 10 degrees and tried some FPV flying with the Mini Mamba (albeit, I still fly like a nana).
Points to note:
- the quad didn't seem any faster from an FPV perspective but it is apparent from the outside shots that it is moving quite quickly
- this quad has a very strange noise associated with it, kind of hollow rattle. I have no idea what it is.
- I still have a lot of tuning to do with the PIDs to get the full potential from this frame.
- Like all miniquads, it is tough (don't ask how I know that).
- There are some odd vibrations in flight which I need to work on.
This is, as I stated in the video, a work in progress so I'll continue playing with the frame and report back later once I've got it more dialed in.
