As on last year's gorgeous Days Like This / On My Own, plus the "Universal Glow" follow-up, Shanti Celeste yet again vaults the bar marked 'really, really good' with ease; she's been on a roll for a while now, and shows little sign of tapering off. "Moods" plays it a little more direct than the head-in-the-clouds numbers before, doing away with the enchanting vocals and supplanting them with a dancefloor-primed bump that is impossible to deny. This one's out on BRSTL, an imprint Shanti has an active hand in, and home of her very first 12". It also continues a now strikingly obvious release pattern ? September, April, September, April. With music as bright as this, who'd have guessed?
