Aeromodel Aquajet preview and first flights on the water today. I tried using a generic edf fan motor and 4s battery and got less than desirable results. It flew it just fine for most people but if you know me by now you know I like to have some juice to count on! So I tried it with a 6s since I had no 5s and it seemed to work fine as long as I did not go over half throttle. Full throttle would most likely melt the motor. Flew great with this power setup although I will try and get some 5s to be ideal. Stay tuned for more fun and I plan on building the prop version of this plane too called the Aquacat! The EDF is a power hog if ya know what I mean.
