Multirotor build tip: FTDI adapter
In this short video I revisit the importance of having an FTDI adapter in the toolbox for when you are building, setting up or troubleshooting your multi-rotor.
Without one of these little boards you may struggle to get kit (like the APM 3DR radios, MinimOSD, BT models and CN06 GPS units) working.
They are very cheap from our friends on eBay (search for FTDI Basic) and it's amazing how often you end up using them to configure components both with and without(!) FTDI ports.
