FrSky Taranis X9D antenna mod RG178 wire upgrade
For better signal use good wire (in this video im using 10CM RG178 RP SMA Female To PCB), solder directly (don't use ipx) both ends of ground. That way you'll have better signal strength and less loss.
If you solder directly without IPX connector you'll get 1 to 0 SWR!
But if you need to see how to add IPX connector here is a video of that
