A 7-part series of tips and tricks showing you how to edit video like a pro! (or at least like how FlippedSociety does it!)

Details:
0:23 - The Cut Down Process. Rough to Final – think layers of paint. Have to go through timeline over and over (expect to miss some things), each pass will leave you with less. Less is more most of the time. Take breaks, walk away and come back.
2:29 - Can always cut more than you think, song/pace will dictate everything - WAVEFORM! (show cut down timelines)
5:00 - Different Editing Approaches:
5:43 - Straight cut
8:26 - Matches – Match on action (people in shot or camera movement), Match on beat, match on visual (face, scenery)..looking for these clips during editing, or intentionally shoot them beforehand with a plan.
15:30 - Segway – time lapse? Season / weather change?
27:30 - Match on Vocals
