Sorry about the music on this old video. I just got hit with a music copyright violation and had to use YouTube's song removal/replacement tool so I was at the mercy of their song selection and had no control over the volume, etc.
This video features Leigh messing around with his Dad's (Steve's) Fun Cub. You may remember this plane from some of my previous videos when it was parked in my hangar. Well, it was Steve's birthday and Leigh knew his Dad really liked the Fun Cub so after much persuasion, I reluctantly let it go to a new home. And a good home it is.
Leigh always does a great job with this plane and the two of them get along very well.
Stay tuned for another Fun Cub video in the near future where Steve does some super steep dives to the deck and lands with zero roll out in true STOL fashion.

This was one of many great flights we witnessed at the two day first annual Trudi Simonson Memorial Fun Fly event held at Spectrum Flyers on August 25-26, 2012. We were able to raise a nice donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in the name of Trudi who was the wife of one of our members and who lost her battle with cancer last year. RIP Trudi.
