Lead track "Future Tense" is a six-minute journey into the deeper side of S.P.Y's production. Sweeping synths, blissed out atmospherics and west-coast male vocals courtesy of US soulster Jo-s dominate for the most part with a growing sense of anticipation. Rolling breaks drive things along with warm instruments and gently echoing repeated "future tense" vocal. Imagine SEAL and Trevor Horn re-born and re-imagined in a post-millennial jungle style and you're half way there. Expect to hear this one at Sun & Bass this summer for sure.
