When you’re ready to admire some of nature’s beauty, tour Seopjikoji, located on the eastern tip of Jeju-do Island.
This picturesque part of South Korea stands over rocky beaches and a windy plateau. Here you can walk along miles of craggy coastline, breathing in the honeyed scent of bright yellow canola flowers and watching herds of grazing Jeju ponies.
One of the highlights of Seopikoji sightseeing is a visit to Bongsudae, an ancient signal tower built entirely of stone. Bongsudae, and other towers like it, was once used as a communication system, transmitting messages via signal fire. The remaining walls are over 13 feet high, and are the perfect place for photo ops.
