Filled with almost three tons of food, fuel and supplies for the Expedition residents on the International Space Station, the unpiloted Russian ISS Progress 57 cargo craft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan Oct. 29, bound on a fast track journey to the orbital complex.
oughly six hours after launching from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the Progress 57 Cargo Craft filled with nearly three tons of food, fuel and other supplies has arrived at the International Space Station. The Russian spacecraft automatically docked to the Pirs Docking Compartment, where it will remain for four months.
