The F181C does incorporate a 720p video camera, but without a downlink or transmitter, the images captured tend to be random. Two lithium-polymer batteries are supplied with the aircraft. However, the controller requires 4 AA batteries, which are not included. Each time the system is powered up, a binding process is required. The accelerometers and gyroscopes also require periodic calibration. The F181C has four levels of responsiveness to pilot input, but even the most aggressive setting is easily controllable. It also incorporates an automatic flip function. Flying time actually exceeds the manufacturer's claims, with an average of nine minutes per battery.
