I recently built the TuffWing 32" flying wing and didn't even get to my maiden flight before I ended up breaking something. *NEWS FLASH* don't pile junk in the back of your car next to your RC plane or multirotor. When I hit the gas a bunch of books fell over on my wing and broke the little balsa control horn. Complete fail on my part.
This video walks through the process I used to design a new control horn using Rhino 3D. Then I 3D printed the piece with my MakerBot Replicator 2. Everything appears to be ready to go for my maiden flight this weekend. I will keep you posted on the results. My end goal is to get my APM 2.5 running on the TuffWing after I get everything dialed.
