This is a short video to how to reset and recalibrate the board on the Heliguy Viper. This also works on Hubsan X4 and other models that use the same board.
This is a handy trick to use if you find that the model is wandering and is proving difficult to trim to be stable or is becoming tricky to fly. You can tell when it needs doing by the way that the model will fly -- it will not spin on its axis easily.
I now check that the reset isn't needed if I'm having trouble with this model by trying a pirouette and slow turn both ways - it's best to do this indoors so wind does not affect it. If the model wanders off its axis during either manoeuvre, then you need to reset it by going through this short reset sequence.
General tip: Always start this model on a flat surface and give it 3 or more seconds idle before taking off, this gives the onboard gyros and accelerometers time to settle down.
Thanks for watching. Happy flying!
