In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew hears from Spencer Gore, the CEO of Impossible Aerospace. The company, which plans to build both manned and unmanned electric-powered aircraft, introduced its US-1 quadcopter drone at the 2018 InterDrone Conference in 2018. The US-1 does not have interchangeable batteries. Instead, the entire aircraft is a flying battery, and is re-charged between flights. The time to re-charge the aircraft is 45 minutes, so with a flying time between 90 minutes and two hours, having a pair of US-1 drones means users can have unlimited flying time.
