DIY Helical FPV antenna (5 turn and 3 turn compared)
In the previous video I showed how to build your own high-gain helical antenna for FPV planes and drones. Today I compare the performance (on beam and off beam) of 5-turn and 3-turn versions.
For direct connection to FPV goggles, I'm a fan of 5-turn helicals which I believe offer the best compromise between gain and beam-width. Your mileage may vary.
