The journey to abs. It was my biggest goal, as I spent my whole life self-conscious and insecure with how I looked. I hated being overweight and wearing a shirt in the pool. I hated what I looked like. I wore hoodies and oversized clothes to hide my physique.
I ran myself into the ground in pursuit of something so superficial. I was selfish and self-obsessed. But I learned, and I’ve grown, and I’ve changed.
If you are working towards a specific physique/goal make sure to ask yourself “Why?” and really give it thought. Are you doing it for you, or to impress others?
