Lightning and 'Probably Satellites' Seen from Space Station
European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured imagery of Earth while orbiting over California aboard the International Space Station on April 17, 2017. ESA's Space Debris Office confirmed that the moving objects seen above Earth "are consistent with intact objects, probably functioning satellites." -- Read more about the "objects" on Space.com:
