FPV Racing Quads from Horizon Hobby at AMA Expo
In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew speaks with Derek Sachtleben of Horizon Hobby about the company's two First-Person View (FPV) racing quads: the Vortex 250 Pro from ImmersionRC and the Mach 25, designed specifically for beginning pilots. The Vortex 250 Pro incorporates heavy-duty carbon fiber construction, and an adjustable-angle, front-mounted camera. It also includes a vibration-dampening mount for a GoPro Hero sports camera. The “Bind-and-Fly” Mach 25 features sturdy aluminum limbs with integrated LED lights and uses the Spektrum VS 2500 FPV system, which is compatible with Fat Shark video frequencies.
