How to Not to Plan a Mission with Pixhawk and SweepWings Juggernaut
The component that suffered the most damage in this crash was my Canon SX260 HS, but amazingly it still works. I ordered a spare used one from here:
Ruben from SweepWings has been a huge help. We've been working on a good delta wing setup for aerial mapping with the Pixhawk and the Juggernaut handles incredibly well. Not to mention how incredibly durable it is as you can see in the video.
I wanted to share my experience with Mission Planner and how the estimate flying speed setting gets reset between every mission. Not good if you're flying a wing and it gets set to 5 m/s. That's ultimately what sent the Juggernaut upside down and plummeting to the ground.
I hope you find this video useful and thanks for watching.
