There’s plenty of punch in Devin Dawson’s country songs. The singer, who grew up in California, came up as a part of a metal band and spent plenty of time cranking it out on the road. He’s a veteran of sorts. He’s also a committed and skilled songwriter. He recently played the Vevo team a handful of his latest tracks – each was more impressive than the next. When he came to perform “All On Me” for his Vevo dscvr session, he and his crack little band were in top form – everything about them was super tight.
