There’s nothing fun about having your credit card skimmed - but with this device, you’ll at least be able to buel up your car with a bit more confidence that your finances are protected. Based on the research done by Nathan Seidle of Sparkfun and his gas pump skimmer scanner mobile app, we’ll be using a Raspberry Pi to build a tiny appliance that sits on your car dashboard and continuously scans for offending devices and alerts you if it finds a suspected skimmer.
