Flite Test Builds Gliders at AMA Expo
In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew talks to Josh Bixler about Flite Test's “Make and Take” program at AMA Expo. Families were invited to build FT Sparrow gliders out of pre-cut foam board and fly them in the education hall, then to take them home and potentially fit them with electric motors and servos to convert them into two-, three- or four-channel RC airplanes. Looking ahead, Josh also discusses the group's Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum, set to launch in 2016 for students from kindergarten through high school.
