Dekmantel 2018 - Sunday
You know the drill: Sunday of Dekmantel, we all begin exhausted and end up energised. This year the music is set to be even more frenzied than ever - and as a first, the majority of these acts you can’t see anywhere else at the festival. Bonus!
The closing slot is a never-before-attempted combination, yet one we are certain will be absolutely lethal: Special Request colliding with Courtesy in a 140bpm+ centrifuge.
Barrelling down toward the finish line, we bring three-deck wizard Danny Daze in from Miami, and fellow Omnidisc wildman David Vunk right before him. It’ll be their first times on BR, and we have some surprises planned... stay tuned.
Heavy acid artillery will be order of the afternoon, in truth: Mama Snake, the other half of Copenhagen’s killer Ectotherm label, will play her first BR; and returning to the stage she made her own in our very first edition c.2013, the spellbinding Xosar.
And to open up, a Dekmantel duo you more regularly see in the later hours: New Jersey’s master of depth, Joey Anderson; and, swapping turntables for a live set-up, Tom Trago to bring us all back to life.
Get your deckchairs set up by 4pm and stay the course to be honest. Sparks will fly as we wave goodbye to Dekmantel in style.
